The most important decision any investor will ever make is where they choose to do business. Who are they going to trust? Who will tell them the truth? Who knows the truth?
Resourceful investors search desperately for someone with knowledge, principle, and comprehension of this tiny 1% universe called commodity trading. They would like this person to spend 100% of their time thinking only of his or her account, and not on the phone "selling" something for commission sake. They would like their positions to be flexible enough to take advantage of changing market conditions at critical points, and yet remain focused on the primary reoccurring cycle.
These are lofty thoughts indeed, and nearly impossible for the average person. Those doing this kind of research and committing this kind of time, are sadly hidden from public view.
The very few in the country with these qualifications have spent nearly every waking hour learning how the futures market really works. The salesperson on the other hand, has spent their time becoming an articulate spokesperson with all the right "buzz words" and seemingly accurate answers. Where do you think the majority take their precious risk capital?
Futures trading is the quintessence of Capitalism. There is no other business in the world which allows you to use 10% to 15% good faith deposit, has unlimited potential, does not depend on heavy initial capital, and is available to the general public.
For the first time in history, a true global economy has emerged with extraordinary opportunities for those who study and comprehend the meaning. It appears the Western economic system is becoming the standard of the world.
Investors need to know what is happening around the world that affects prices, and have honest, accurate, technical and fundamental analysis on the subject. The investor needs truthful, factual, non sales promotional advice. They need a mentor with as many years experience as possible. They need a friend in the business.
